Jamie Agins Art Glass

Client’s Request:

Jamie needed a website to showcase her unique Art Glass. She sells her pieces at shows and festivals, and because finished pieces are quickly sold at venues across the region, she wanted only representative pieces displayed on the website. She requested:

  • Jamie’s biography
  • an introduction to Jamie’s Art Glass
  • a listing of shows
  • a page for each type of Art Glass
  • a contact page
  • a links page
Designer’s Comments:

This is a family project, as Jamie’s husband Robert is my brother. Robert had some working knowledge of Dreamweaver, but a lot of experience with Microsoft’s spread sheet program Excel, and felt most comfortable working with tables. Tables were a standard in web design for long time, but have since been replaced by much more robust div structures using CSS. Nonetheless, Robert has been able to easily update the site over many years now. When we get the chance, I hope we’ll design a WordPress site that he’ll have much more fun updating!

  • A variety of SEO techniques
